Introduction

TCG2GO.io ("we", "us", or "our") operates a web application that provides tools for trading card game players and a coaching marketplace that connects coaches with students ("the Service"). By creating an account or using this application, you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy described on this page.

TCG2GO.io is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by UVS Games, Riot Games, or any official tournament organizers.

Terms of Service

Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date.

Acceptable Use

When using this application, you agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal activities
• Attempt to disrupt or damage the platform
• Scrape, harvest, or copy large amounts of data without permission
• Upload malicious software or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Impersonate other individuals or organizations
• Misrepresent your qualifications or coaching credentials

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Coach Pro Subscription

Coach Pro is a paid monthly subscription available to registered coaches on TCG2GO.io, currently priced at $15 per month. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the next billing cycle. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal linked from your coach dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain Pro access until that date.

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Your payment card information is submitted directly to Stripe and never touches our servers.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at admin@it-ohio.net within 7 days of the charge and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.

Coaching Marketplace

TCG2GO.io provides a platform that allows coaches to list availability and students to book coaching sessions and seminars. We are a technology platform only — we do not employ coaches, verify credentials, or guarantee the quality, outcomes, or accuracy of any coaching session or seminar.

Any arrangement, agreement, or payment made directly between a coach and student outside of this platform is solely between those parties. TCG2GO.io is not a party to such agreements and accepts no liability for them.

Coaches are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and conduct of their sessions, seminars, and communications with students.

Seminars

Seminars listed on TCG2GO.io are created and managed by independent coaches. We do not review, endorse, or guarantee the content of any seminar. Disputes regarding seminar content, cancellations, or session quality are between the coach and student.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (deck lists, collection data, profile information, session notes, seminar content, etc.). By submitting content to the platform you grant TCG2GO.io a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content within the application for the purpose of operating the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not violate the rights of others or applicable laws.

Community Tournaments

Tournaments organized through TCG2GO.io are community-run and unofficial unless explicitly stated otherwise. We do not guarantee the accuracy of tournament results, rankings, or event organization. Event organizers and participants are responsible for ensuring the fairness and accuracy of tournament reporting.

Service Availability

This application is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available. Features may be modified, suspended, or removed at any time without notice.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the platform. Active Coach Pro subscriptions will not be refunded upon termination for cause. Users may request deletion of their account at any time by contacting us; upon deletion, your active subscription (if any) will be canceled.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCG2GO.io and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• The quality, accuracy, or outcomes of coaching sessions or seminars
• Disputes between coaches and students
• Payment disputes between users or with third parties outside this platform
• Inaccurate tournament results or player statistics
• Service outages or data loss
• User-generated content posted by other users

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Username
• Email address
• Display name
• Password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we never store plaintext passwords)

If you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive limited profile information from Google, which may include your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier.

Coach & Coaching Profile Data

If you register as a coach, we additionally collect and store:

• Coaching bio, game specialties, and hourly rate
• Availability schedules and booking slots
• Seminar listings and descriptions
• Private session notes you write about students
• Booking and session history

Payment Information

Coach Pro subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. We receive and store a Stripe customer identifier and subscription status from Stripe in order to manage your subscription. User-Generated Content

We store content created while using the application, including:

• Deck lists and card collection data
• Tournament registrations and match results
• Profile information and avatar images
• Booking records and session history
• Seminar content and registrations

Automatically Collected Information

We collect limited technical information necessary to operate the service, including session cookies used to keep users logged in and basic server logs (IP addresses and request timestamps). We do not use third-party advertising networks or tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Provide and operate the application and coaching marketplace
• Create and manage user accounts and coach profiles
• Authenticate users and maintain session security
• Process Coach Pro subscription payments via Stripe
• Display player statistics, rankings, and match history
• Enable deck-building, collection tracking, and coaching features
• Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, session reminders, seminar updates)
• Send onboarding communications to newly registered coaches
• Send payment status notifications (e.g., payment failed, payment resolved)
• Maintain platform security and prevent abuse

We do not use your information for targeted advertising. Emails we send are operational (related to your account, bookings, or subscription) or onboarding in nature. You may contact us to opt out of non-essential emails.

Public Information

Certain information is visible to other users, including display names, coach profiles and bios, deck lists you publish, tournament participation, match history, and player statistics. Coach profiles and seminar listings are publicly accessible.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data with the following service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the service:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing for Coach Pro subscriptions
• SMTP2GO — transactional email delivery
• Render — cloud hosting and infrastructure

We may disclose information if required by law or court order, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of TCG2GO.io or its users.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures including:

• Password hashing (bcrypt)
• HTTPS encryption in transit
• CSRF protection on all state-changing requests
• HTTP security headers (Helmet.js)
• Rate limiting on authentication endpoints

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide the services. Upon account deletion, personal data will be removed or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal, security, or financial record-keeping purposes.

Children's Privacy

This application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update these Terms and Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
