Putting it all together
One position, three turns, and every decision is yours. Both sides have a hand, a rune pool and cards worth holding back; theirs is face down, so all you get is the count. Nothing is random — the draws and their decisions are fixed, so you can replay any line exactly.

Remember
Every rule in this guide shows up in that game, and none of them arrive as a rule — they arrive as "can I afford this", "will that survive", "can they answer it". Two habits carry most of the weight: a unit cannot be countered, so bodies are how you make ground stick; and the two public numbers on your opponent’s side — cards held and ready runes — tell you whether an answer is still coming.
That is the guide.
