Showdowns
Move into a battlefield the opponent is standing on and you get a showdown. That is all of combat. Six of them here, with keywords, the battlefield and the cards in hand all feeding the same total.
Count the sides after keywords, the battlefield’s own text and every attack trigger — then assign lethal before spilling over, and take the ground only if you clear it. The attacker acts first in the showdown, which is why moving in shows your opponent the fight before they have to answer it. Leave anything alive and your survivors are recalled to base; kill everything on both sides and nobody takes it, because control needs a body left standing. [Stun] silences a unit’s damage; [Tank] decides your assignment for you; and an [Action] in hand is part of your might total too.
